"If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then, you are an excellent leader." —Dolly Parton

There is no greater mark of leadership than a legacy that inspires others. But while legacy is something you can work to cultivate, it’s not something you can see until you’ve reached the end of your life. In the meantime, one of the most powerful ways to inspire others is by leading others with a spirit of enthusiasm. We all need someone who will cheer us on, believe in our dreams, and support our efforts. And when it comes to leadership, you have an opportunity to provide that for the people around you. Whether you lead a team, serve a customer base, or simply work alongside others, a spirit of enthusiasm can inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more.

This month at Polished we are focusing on leading with enthusiasm. As we head into the summer months, it’s a unique time to allow the longer days inspire a more sunny disposition. But what we really want to explore this month is how your own enthusiasm can inspire those you lead. Join us for a vibrant conversation this month and consider how you can lead with enthusiasm! Let’s get creative with our own enthusiastic efforts to lead others well!

About the Speaker

G’day, I’m Bailey Wilson, founder of Bondi Bowls. At 24, I embarked on a journey from Oklahoma to California for college, later venturing to Bondi Beach, Australia. However, life took an unexpected turn when my dad faced a serious health crisis. Swiftly returning to the U.S., I discovered the tumor wasn't as dire as feared. Unable to go back to Australia due to lockdowns, I trusted it was for a reason.

During my time in Australia, I fell in love with açai bowls. Wanting to support my dad's health, I introduced him to this nourishing treat. Inspired by the positive impact, my mom suggested turning it into a business. In April 2020, we launched Bondi Bowls as a food truck in Edmond, Oklahoma. From that humble start, we now operate 17 trucks across 8 states, a downtown Edmond storefront, and 2 kiosks in Oklahoma sports facilities.

Our mission is to 'encourage God honoring conversations while building community around healthy food'. Bondi Bowls is not just a business; it's a testament to faith, family, and the power of sharing good food. We hope our story and products bring blessings to your life, just as you've blessed ours.
